[Pre-9.2.0] How to Add a Learning Module
The process outlined on this page applies to Cognition versions prior to 9.2.0.

To add a learning module, start by clicking on the 'learning modules' link under the 'Content' heading in the 'Learning Management' menu.
On this page, click the 'Add New' green plus symbol located on the upper right of the screen.
Select the Learning Module type
Select what type of learning module you wish to add. For this example, we will be using 'eLearning'.
Learning Module Information
Enter basic information about the learning module being added, such as the 'Code', 'Name', 'Estimated Duration', etc.
At the bottom of this page, under 'Development Plan Administration Restrictions', there are check boxes to 'Allow Manual Completions', 'Allow Exemptions', and to 'Allow Incompletes'.Â
Assignment Properties
Enter the 'Assignment Properties' for this learning module. These include the 'Highlight on Development Plan' feature, along with 'Due Date', 'Weight', and 'Retake' settings.
Learning Module Settings
Step 4 is where you will set settings specific to the Learning Module type. See each module type's page for more information:
For the eLearning module type, these settings include 'Launch Type' and 'Launch URL'. Â
Learning Module Review
After completing these steps, review all of your past selections and then press the green 'Finish' button at the bottom of the page.
