Adding a New User
Go to the
Administration
menu within the main navigation menu.Select
Users
from the dropdown menu.Click the
Add New
Button.
Enter a unique
Login ID
for the new user.Note: This may be have a different label in your system configuration such as Employee ID, etc.
If you want to set up the user's credentials immediately:
Check the
Automatically Register
checkbox.Enter a
Password
and select aSecret Question/Answer
for the user.
If you prefer for the user to set up their credentials:
Leave the
Automatically Register
checkbox unchecked.The user will be prompted to create their
Password
andSecret Question/Answer
during their first login.
After completing the required fields, click the
Next
button to continue.
Fill in all required fields (marked in bold):
HR First Name
Display First Name
Note: This does not need to be filled in if the user does not require a unique
Display First Name
that differs from theirHR First Name
. See Additional Display Name Settings & Data Considerations
Last Name
Division
Location
Job Code
Hire Date
Optional fields can also be filled in at this time or left blank for future updates.
Once all necessary fields are complete, click the
Finish
button to save the new user profile.If you selected
Automatically Register
:The new user can log in immediately using the credentials you provided.
If you left
Automatically Register
unchecked:The user will need to complete the registration process by setting their
Password
andSecret Question/Answer
during their first login.
