9.0.5 - New Talent Management Features
We’ve been working on lots of talent updates to make it even easier for HR Group Managers and Talent Administrators to manage their groups and get the data they need. Here’s a summary of the great things you can expect in version 9.0.5 of Cognition!
Easier Dashboard Navigation
HR Group Manager and Enterprise Administrator Talent Dashboards now have a collapsed view for users who manage more than 4 HR groups. This new view will save room on the dashboards while still allowing for quick access to groups.
Additionally, Talent Administrators (EAs) can now get the Talent Review Administration pages faster with a quick link rather than having to go through the HR menu.
Fast Group Switching
We’ve made it easier to flip in-between HR Groups. While you’re viewing a Talent Grid for Talent Review or Succession Management, use the dropdown box to switch your group quickly.
Advanced Filtering
You can now filter your HR Groups even further to get the reports and organization you need. New filter options include:
Pyramid Head – Select a reporting pyramid head to see everyone within their pyramid.
Group – Continue to make custom sub-groups as needed for meeting organization or reporting. To make or edit sub-groups, click the select Multiple Button to reveal the “Groups” tools.
User Status – Filter by user status to see inactive associates within the HR Group.
After applying your filters, you can download a report that will match the filters you’ve selected on the page.
Automatic All User Groups
Now you can see and manage all of your users in one grid without having to make and maintain your own “All Associates” group.
This group will automatically include all of the users in the Talent Review that you have access to see.
For HR Group Managers, that means all of the users across the groups that they specifically manage.
For Talent Administrators (EAs), that means all of the users in the Talent Review process.
Ability to Add Multiple Report Templates
Now you can have multiple Talent Reports each with its own unique template. You can even control which roles have access to these reports by indicating whether a report is available to Supervisors, HR Group Managers, and Talent Administrators.
Talent Administrators can add new reports on the Information tab:
Decide When Talent Reviews are Available in Talent Search
Now Talent Administrators can limit which Talent Reviews appear in the Talent Search dropdown. You can remove old reviews with data that is no longer relevant or prevent new reviews that haven’t been started from showing in the search.
Note: This will not prevent HR Managers or Administrators from accessing historical Talent Review data for associates using User Administration or the “Previous Talent Review links” in Talent Administration. This new option is intended to help make the Talent Search page easier to use and focused on relevant data.
