Landing Pages
Landing Pages are custom pages where users can view Announcements and view training content before logging in. Landing Pages provide a similar function to the Student Dashboard with the unique quality of being available to view before login in.
Adding a New Landing Page
Creating a new landing page is pretty simple. First, navigate to the Landing Page editor under the administration menu, press the ‘Add New’ Green plus button, and fill in the required fields.
Setting Field | Description |
---|---|
Landing Page Name | This name is used for administrative purposes and will not show to end users on the public landing page. |
Description | Descriptions give administrators information about the Landing Page's purpose. |
Header Title | The Header title is the text that will show as the title for the page. |
Header Subtitle | The Sub Title will be the text that appears underneath the header. |
Information Tab
After setting up the landing page, the fields for Landing Page Name, Description, Header Title, and Header Subtitle are all available to be changed after creation. With the addition of being able to change the end of the Landing page URL.
Information
Show Collection in Catalog on Dashboard
This checkbox option will have the selected landing page appear under the Catalog tab on the Student Dashboard, with its default state being off.
Collection Image
This image will be what appears in the Student Dashboard Catalog. Clicking edit will allow the administrator to update the Image or clear the image.
Public Access
The public Access tab gives administrators control of how the functionality of the landing page will change when accessed before login.

Enable Checkbox | Allows to enable and disable public access entirely while keeping the landing page open for logged-in users. |
Public Header Title/Subtitle | Allows changing the title and subtitle for public users while keeping the title for logged-in users different. |
Landing Page Layout
There are four main portions that makeup Landing pages, the Hero Image, the Announcements, the Content Catalog, and the Trending Now list. Each of these sections can be disabled independently of another, (besides the Trending Now list which requires the Catalog to be enabled.
Announcement Tab
The Announcement Tab is the place for administrators to organize and add announcements to public or private landing pages. Clicking on the central dropdown menu will bring up a list of announcements, by either scrolling or searching for an announcement press the green plus icon to add it to the Landing Page.
Reordering
After multiple announcements are added to the list, administrators are able to reorder them by pressing the ‘Reorder Announcements' button. on the left of each announcement is a draggable section that allows specific reordering of announcements.
Remove All
The ‘Remove All’ button will remove every announcement from displaying on the Landing Page.
Catalog Tab
The Catalog tab is where admins can add Learning Modules to the landing page. The types of Learning Modules supported in the Catalog Tab are as follows:
eLearning - Users can view the course and have the option to redeem credit after completion
Video - Users can view the video and have the option to redeem credit after completion
Compliance - Users can only view documents. They cannot sign off.
On the Job Training - Users can only view the form. They cannot submit
Self Study - Users can only view the form. They cannot submit.
Collections
Trending Now Tab
The Trending Now section of the Landing Page shows a ranked list of content with the most views in a recent period of time. It automatically shows active announcements and content in the Public Catalog. You can select the timeframe for how far it should look back to calculate views (between 1 week and 1 month) and set how many items show. The Title for the ‘Trending Now’ section is also editable in this tab.
The trending tab also has the ability to pin specific announcements to the top of the Trending Now section.
Audience
The Audience acts as a filter for who can see a landing page while logged in. The Audience filter has no effect on unauthenticated users and only affects users who are logged in.
