Before getting started in the Performance Management system for this step, it’s a good time to refer to your Prep Worksheet. This will help organize your information, so that you can avoid having to go back and add or fix things after the fact.

In this section we will walk through how to add and edit the groups and individuals involved in the review process.

Your first step is to:

Add Global HR Groups

From your dashboard, click on the red Cognition Button

Scroll down and click on Global HR Groups

Look to the far right of the screen and click on the Add New button

A Group Name dialogue box will pop up. So, name that group! {Hint! These names should have been established while working on your Prep Worksheet.}

Once you’ve named the group, you will be automatically directed back to the HR Group Menu. Scroll through the pages (page scrolling found bottom right part of screen) until you see your new group.

Look all the way to the right and you’ll see a blue icon of a circle with three lines. [pic of the icon]. Click on this Menu Options button.

You’ll see you have some choices here. Probably your next step will be to:

Edit/Add Users

Here are the steps to add and edit individuals within your Global HR Group.

Once you have clicked on the Menu Options button, you click on Edit Users (yep, even to add a user).

Before you’ve added users, you will see the bottom section in blue with a message of There are no results to show.

Click anywhere in the Select a User to Add {This is another area where you can refer to your Prep Worksheet to find the names to add to each Global HR Group.)

Simply start typing the users name and then Click on the Name once you’ve found it.

You’ll begin to see those blue rows at the bottom populate with the users you have added.
