If your site utilizes a SAML integration and students login using Single Sign On (SSO), it is important to note that these username and password fields will If your site is configured to not work for any users who use Single Sign On (SSO) , and to sign in to Cognition. Therefore, if the majority of your students use SSO rather than a dedicated Cognition password to login; then it is recommended that you disable this option the On-Screen Sign-in Tools setting to avoid confusion.
When uncheckeddisabled, this will require that Students students will be able to sign-in using either use the QR Code Sign-in tool or get added initially by an instructor before they are prompted to enter a password.
Use QR Code
This setting turns on the QR Code Sign-in option for Training Huddles and allows students to sign-in or add themselves to the Training Huddle by scanning a QR Code. For students who access the site with Single Sign On, using the QR Code will allow them to securely authenticate when signing into the Training Huddle.
